Biography

WANG Xiaohai was a visiting scholar of Harvard University in 2012-2013. Currently, he is teaching at School of English for International Business, GDUFS and European Research Center, Guangdong Institute for International Strategies.

His main research directions are linguistics, cross cultural communication, European studies, etc. In recent years, he undertook more than 10 research programs on international and domestic levels, for example, the 2014.09-2017.08 with five European countries’ professorjointly declare the European Commission’s “Erasmus+”project. He presided over the European Commission Jean Monet project and “European integration of cultural studies” project from 2011 to 2014. In recently years, he published more than 10 papers and books about teaching and scientific research, attended to the international academic conference and read papers. He had obtained awards such as GDUFS’ advanced individual, outstanding teacher, scientific research activist for many years.
